Our Story

Our rescue was inspired by a truly remarkable little dog named Dixie. Dixie was a 7-pound Yorkie with a love for squeaky toys, cozy blankets, and dining exclusively at the dinner table. Dixie captured our hearts in a way that words cannot fully express. She had countless nicknames, but the one that stuck was Bink.

Bink is irreplaceable and was so deeply loved by our family. She was, without a doubt, the best thing on four legs. We found Bink in Texas. She was part of a horrible breeding situation, and she was our very first ‘rescue’. She opened our hearts to the world of saving dogs. Founding this organization was the most impactful way to keep her memory alive. To know her was to love her, and she now lives on through every dog that walks into our rescue.

Little Bink Rescue is a small, family run, nonprofit organization. The dogs we take in are welcomed into our home with open arms. We care for these dogs as if they are our own, and they carry a small piece of our love for Bink, wherever they go.
